After waiting for a NHS appointment for a knee replacement for nearly 3 years and then with the arrrival of covid to wait another 2 years at the least , was certainly not an option for me. I was in agony, unable to walk up or down stairs, not enjoy a walk, painful to get in and out of the car and would often go from under me and having to use a walking pole. I made an appointment to see Mr Ganapathi, in Abergele Spire, had a consultation and X-rays and he told me that my knee was badly worn and needed to be replaced. I decided I would use some of my savings and booked an appointment for a knee replacement. This took place in Wrexham Spire hospital on November 30th 2021. After the operation they had me walking the same day. The hospital and staff were wonderful and I was home in a couple of days and it was fantastic not to be in so much pain as before the operation. I had physio in Abergele Spire and appointments to check on the wound. The staff were very kind, thoughtful and professional, 12 months later I have been signed off by Mr Ganapathi, all went well and my replacement knee is fantastic. I would recommend this procedure to anyone who was suffering the pain I was.

Mr Ganapathi is a kind person who conducts himself with a mixture of astute professionalism and care. Having waited for more than two years and facing at least another year of waiting, my quality of life was one of debilitating pain that medication did not alleviate any more. I had limited mobility. Mr Ganapathi addressed my concerns about the cosmetic outcome of previous abdominal surgery and I am so happy with the result of the minimally invasive surgery he did. Mr Ganapathi and every person who attended me… I wish I could name them all… was friendly, caring and competent. I feel line a new girl now, pain-free, able to sleep well and above all, move around easily. Thank you Mr Ganapathi

Due to commitments caring for my husband, I left treating my hip too long until the chronic pain became unbearable & I was almost immobile. I was so lucky to find Mr Ganapathi, at his Abergele clinic, he put me at ease, explained the procedure (different to my other side, which was done many years earlier). I was lucky to get a cancellation & had the op in Wrexham. The nursing was excellent & Mr Ganapathi made it a perfect procedure. My recovery went fine, despite me being in my mid 80’s and I have now been discharged & I’m ok to drive. The op, as well as the pre & post care were exemplary - I’m very grateful to Mr Ganapathi & his team

I would recommend Mr Ganapathi, he has a good friendly manner and explained the procedure perfectly. He did my hip replacement most efficiently and I was back on my feet after 6 weeks with no pain.

I was in so much pain prior to my hip replacement, after 7 weeks of having it I can walk unaided without pain around the great orme a 6 mile walk . Felt secure and in safe hands from day one first class surgeon, who treated me like a friend. Much appreciated.
