I was referred for a hip replacement operation. Mr El-Deen understood the need for the operation and arranged prompt admission to Circle Bath. The entire process from referral to post-operation follow up was professional and everything was explained in terms I could understand. Mr El-Deen explained the process in detail and gave me the confidence to have the operation. He has excellent interpersonal skills and communicates clearly. Mr El-Deen did his best to allay any fears I may have had.

I saw Mr El Deen as I was suffering wrist problems. He referred me for a Trapeziectomy and a short while later, performed this procedure on my right hand. I want this review to show my appreciation of the professionalism and attention that he gave me over this procedure, the consultations before it and the post operative reviews. Since I first met him, he has always shown great concern, made me feel special, gave me reassurance and confidence and I thank him for this. Moreover, the way he explained the problems I had, the causes and the remedies made me appreciate the depth of his knowledge and experience. Suffice to say I hold him in the highest regard.

Mr El-Deen performed a full left hip replacement operation on me in early January 2018. The operation was scheduled to take approximately one hour but actually took almost one and a half hours, as a result of my hip being in an even worse state than the X Ray had shown. Mr El-Deen took the trouble to explain this to me at the completion of my surgery, whilst I was still on the operating table and assured me everything would be OK. He was completely correct in his statement, as I had no pain at all from my surgery and the wound had basically healed within a week. By four weeks I was down to using one crutch and by five weeks, I resumed walking unaided. The boxes of painkillers I was given on discharge, remained unopened....Absolutely brilliant result ! Mr El-Deen recently reviewed my surgery at the six week check and confirmed all was well, in a very relaxed and professional manner.

I would like to state that when I went in to hospital for my complete knee replacement I felt so nerves but this doctor put me at ease with a little but very calm chat and the way he presented him self from day one was so over whelming in a positive way. I was fully awake during the operation and felt nothing and felt so good that when this surgeon told me that it was all over I said thank you and put my thumb up. I only would say I just don't know what I was so nerves about in the hands of this surgeon and all of his staff, it was such a over whelming time that when I'm completely recovered I'm going back to have my right knee replaced. With great thanks Brian Smith.
