Appointment was at Ulverston General Hospital on 13 December 2023 I found Mr. M. Saqib a very caring and knowledgeable gentleman. He quickly put me at ease and explained his findings in terms that were easy to understand. It really did feel as though he had my best interests at heart. Mr. M. Saqib is a credit to the NHS, Morecambe Bay Trust and himself.

I'm known to urology at my previous health authority, a recent move meant a new hospital and new consultant. Here we go again, I thought. Mr Saqib came across as a caring gentleman who asked me lots of questions and encouraged me to talk, explain & ask any and many questions. I felt cared for, someone had concern & took away any anxiety I had. He is a total gentleman, who took his lead from me. Offered to get some to chaperone prior to my examination. I had every confidence in him & wished I had met someone like him before. A smiling face is a winner for me when faced with what has been quite daunting for me in the past. I have no hesitation in making my view of Mr Saqib known on this site, he is excellent, explains things so you understand and very encouraging making you want speak about any worries or concerns.

Mr Saqib listened to me and asked questions to try and get a full picture of my problem. He has a calm manner and makes you believe that is concerned about you and that you are not on some production line to be seen and ticked off. He explained what the next steps would be and I have my next appointment in November. He has sent a very detailed letter to my GP of the appointment with him.

Well what can I say Dr Saqid has looked after my health problem over the last 5 years on & off & he’s been absolutely fantastic. Very professional, polite and help me manage the problems I was having. People complain about the NHS but for me the service & care I have received so far has been amazing. Thank you so much.
