Fantastic result, fantastic doctor and surgeon. The hospital and team were also fantastic. Mr Riaz has done such a good job and I am healing really well. The scars are so neat and I am so happy with the overall result. Thank you Mr Riaz for giving me a new life and looking forward to the array of clothes I can now wear. The compliments on my physic alone have been incredible since my reduction and up lift. Would highly recommend MR Riaz for any of your surgical needs.

Amazing surgeon, highly recommend. From my consultation to after care Mr Riaz has been exceptionally brilliant. Mr Riaz listens to what you would like with the outcome, he's very honest and gives you realistic expectations. He makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I had a full tummy tuck with muscle repair and I honestly can say he's made me so much more happier and more confident in myself. Sarah, Mr Riaz nurse is just so lovely, always making me feel at ease. Helped me ask the right questions for the answers I was looking for. I had a reaction to the dressings with my sensitive skin. Sarah was very gentle, very reassuring. Couldn't of asked for a better surgeon and nurse. I'm so pleased I went ahead with the procedure with Mr Riaz, he is known as somewhat of a perfectionist which is always great to hear. I absolutely love the outcome. Also to add, all the staff at St Hughs were all lovely, welcoming and took great care of me.

I recently underwent a bi-lateral breast reduction and uplift. At my initial appointment Mr Riaz and Sarah explained everything fully and we’re happy to answer all my questions. This gave me the confidence to go ahead with the surgery. The results have far outweighed my expectations and I can’t thank Mr Riaz enough for the fantastic job he has done. I am more confident in my appearance and now feel better in my clothes. Nothing has been too much trouble and Sarah is fantastic at her job, answering any questions/concerns I had very promptly. I would highly recommend them

I was recommended mr Riaz by a friend and I wasn’t disappointed, both he and Sarah (his lovely nurse ) were both caring and understanding and made me feel at ease. Also all the team at st Hugh’s hospital were brilliant and gave me the best of care during my 2 night stay. I’m very happy with my results and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him to anyone, and if I were to undertake any further surgery I would definitely choose mr Riaz to perform it

When I first saw Mr Riaz I was unhappy with my jawline but happy with my upper face . Once I got to 58 my jawline seemed to really go and I really hated side profile photos. Face on I was OK and would only take photos if I was facing the camera. My inner perception of myself did not match the reality. I could not identify with myself and how I looked to the point of I really did not see it. Mr Riaz is a wonderful surgeon and a very quiet and perspective man. He saw that my reality did not match my perception of how I saw myself. My before op photos did not see myself like that and because they was from side profile also was quite upset that was really what I looked like. He suggested R lower face and neck lift. I felt nervous of procedure but not his ability I knew he was the right surgeon and was so confident I had at least got this perception right. Which I went ahead the result is so natural I have a fantastic jawline and my neck is perfect. I still look like me I even have my dimple on right cheek where it always was. Dr Riaz matched above and beyond my internal perception of how I saw myself and now it is the reality. I am only week 3 but the results are getting better everyday. I feel happier more confident and if this is linked to mental wellbeing then mine is the best it's been for a long time. So happy.

Profile

I have worked as a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon since 1999 and currently work in the UK at The Department of Plastic Surgery, Castle Hill Hospital, Cottingham, in East Yorkshire. I received an honorary appointment to the Academic Staff of the Hull York Medical School (HYMS). My role is one of Senior Clinical Tutor and involves teaching, research and curriculum development.

I undertook my initial training in Multan, Pakistan before going on to embark on specialist plastic surgery training in a number of locations including the UK, Ireland and America. I held junior positions in plastic and reconstructive surgery in the West Midlands, Northern Ireland and Yorkshire. My senior plastic surgery training was undertaken in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Pakistan, the USA and the UK.

In 2000 I was privileged to take up the position of Honorary Assistant Professor in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Nishtar Hospital & Medical College in Multan, Pakistan where early in 1999 I had established the Plastic Surgery and Burns Unit before coming to the UK to work in the capacity of Consultant Plastic Surgeon. During my time at Nishtar Hospital, I worked exclusively on a voluntary basis for the entire tenure.

I was elected as a Council Member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons (BAAPS) in 2014. The purposes for which the Association was established are the advancement of education in, and the practice of, aesthetic plastic surgery for public benefit.
