After a comprehensive bi-lateral slit lamp examination of my eyes Mr Rana succinctly explained the issues with my eyes in a manner that I could understand and took time to carefully answer all my questions. The consultation was a pleasant and informative experience and I left feeling confident that there is a way forward.

Mr Rana performed a YAG procedure on my eye which has helped enormously with my vision. The procedure was quick and painless. He also spent time explaining my eye condition in great length answering all my questions.

Mr Rani and his team treated my sister, who has severe learning difficulties, was treated kindly and respectfully by everyone.
I am pleased to say that the operation has been a great success. My sister bounced back immediately after the operation and is looking forward to her future.
I found the team answered my emails very quickly and any concerns were dealt with immediately.
I think the level of service received was excellent.

Mr Rana is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. His expertise lie in Cataract, Cornea and External Eye Disease, ocular surface Inflammatory disorders, Dry Eyes and Refractive Surgery. His Ophthalmology training started in 2004 and over the last 15 years he has grown into a very competent world class Ophthalmic surgeon. He has undertaken 2 Cornea fellowships in Birmingham and Cambridge, with multiple publications and international poster and presentations. He is a very meticulous, hard working person and shows assiduity to the patients while treating their disease. A recent personality review shows him to be a creative inspiring helper, who is sympathetic , empathetic and affable. His leadership qualities point towards a transformational leadership, where he values talent, encourages team players and values harmony of a team. He is a very social and enjoys racquet sports, reading and volunteering for charities.
