I've just got to say what an absolute amazing doctor Mr Mahran is! I have had two surgeries with him now and he has always explained bit by bit to me and made sure I was comfortable with what was going on, I can't thank him enough for what he has done and how he has helped me with endometriosis. I'll say it again an amazing doctor 10/10 recommend.

Mr Mahran is simply a superb surgeon. He is professional, kind, caring, respectful and sympathetic and within minutes of being with him you feel at ease and know that you are being listened to and will get answers to your problems. In my case it was agreed very quickly that I needed a laparoscopic hysterectomy – but only after Mr Mahran was absolutely sure that I was ready to go ahead with this major surgery. I didn’t once worry about this decision whilst waiting for the surgery as I completely trusted Mr Mahran – I knew I was in safe hands and it was the right thing to do. The surgery went ahead as scheduled and within 5 weeks the very small scars are healing well, I can walk 3-5 miles/day and am almost back to normal, without the awful issues I was having before! Mr Mahran and his excellent team put an end to months of suffering and for that I will forever be grateful.

I am grateful to be alive to say "Thank You Very Much" to Mr. Mahran, who six weeks ago today, on the 16th October 2019 around 0900hrs. used his expertise and most capable and gentle hands, very successfully, to perform Keyhole surgery on me. Mr. Mahran is a surgeon of high calibre. I am a lady in the later part of my life. I was petrified but Mr. Mahran from start to finish was very patient and understanding of my apprehension. In return I have not only made a good recovery but a very speedy one. Mr. Mahran may just wish to give me a WELL DONE badge on the 16th December 2019. Mr. Mahran is a brilliant surgeon and the most thoughtful and kind gentleman I have ever had the privilege to meet. Mr. Mahran has given me a better life in my later years and has my undying gratitude. Mr. Mahran said I was in capable hands, I say Mr. Mahran's hands are MAGIC. I sincerely wish Mr. Mahran a long and enjoyable life. I will never ever forget Mr. Mahran and will always remember him with a smile.

Mr Mahran is an outstanding consultant that cares about his patients. He is kind, calming and empathetic. He understands the stress and anxiety that goes with a diagnosis for his patients and has done everything he can to help the stress for me. He can explain things so I understand, he will always respond to communication and he has a manner in which he can put you at ease In short, I trust this man with my life. He has seen me through some very dark days and at my worst but still will alway great me with a smile and kindness. I can not recommend him enough.

Having been referred for post-menopausal bleeding, I had an appointment in the Bedford Hospital urgent Gynaecological unit following ultrasound scans. I was under the assumption that I was merely obtaining my results. Well....once in there and within minutes I was told that Mr Murhan was going to perform a biopsy. Mr Murhan explained everything thoroughly, and I was soon in the chair. Painful is an understatement, however he kept me chatting throughout and then afterwards he explained what was going to happen next. He also made me feel that if I had any issues, in no uncertain terms was I to contact him immediately. What a gentle, kind, and empathetic soul he is! Amazing service by the nhs too.
