When I first met Mr Faisal I was put at ease in regards to the procedure he was going to carry out. He told me he was able to help me to improve my quality of life. I have had both my hips replaced in 2021 and I feel very lucky. I have had problems wit my hips since birth. I had corrective surgery in my teens to help me. I was living with daily pain and lack of mobility. All of my appointments with Mr Faisal have been excellent. Straight after my first surgery I was in the recovery room and Mr Faisal came straight to me to explain how the procedure had gone. I was up and about the following day after my hip replacement and the pain I had in my right hip had gone. Then in August of this year I was able to have my left hip replaced which was a more complex procedure and again Mr Faisal made me ready for the operation and explained it was more complex for my left side and was able to put me at ease. After the operation again I was in recovery and I was seen by Mr Faisal who eased my concerns following surgery. I feel very lucky to have met Mr Faisal and I am now enjoying life and I am able to walk normally for the first time in my life. I have listened to everything he has said in regards to my rehab and if I have had any concerns he has welcomed me to contact him. Been told that he could help me rather than you need a operation was massive for me. It has been an amazing life changing journey for me and I wouldn't have been able to do this without the support of Mr Faisal and the team around him. With out doubt I now have a quality of life I could have only dreamed of. I can walk, stand tall and being pain free after 48 years is unbelievable. I am fully aware I have a long way to go and I am still doing everything by the book. Mr Faisal is fully aware of how he has changed my life, and I am so thankful to have met him. I really am a new man.

From an initial consultation in April, via right hip Superpath surgery in July at a time to suit me, to discharge in October, Mr Faisal informed and supported me every step of the way. He explained things in details and answered all my questions in a reassuring way. His courtesy and professionalism was peerless. I was driving again within three weeks and walking (in heels) without crutches or walking sticks after three months. The best thing of all is that I am pain free and have my mobility back.

I had a Super Path hip replacement operation in mid-August and amazed my friends by walking without crutches or sticks within 10 days and driving after only 4 weeks. Life returned to normality very quickly and I was free of any pain from the hip.
I cannot praise Mr Faisal too highly and would recommend anyone with a hip problem to consult him.

In May I had a hip replacement ,carried out by Mr Mohammad Faisal and his team.
Although it was a daunting experience ,I was soon put at my ease by his excellent support and obvious expertise. He ensured I had a smooth pre op,surgery, and after care . Monitoring my progress until I was fully recovered.
I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a hip specialist.

An extremely courteous and polite surgeon who throughout my experience of having a Supapath Hip Replacement kept me informed and supported. The team around him worked effortlessly to provide a reassuring atmosphere when having the surgery and I felt completely reassured and at ease under his hand.

Mr Faisal qualified in 1992 from the prestigious Aligarh University in India. He then went on to complete his masters (MS) in Orthopaedics. He completed his UK training in the West Midlands, Sheffield and Warwick. He also did a one year fellowship in hip and knee arthroplasty in the UK and supplemented this with fellowships at world renowned lower limb reconstruction units at Mayo Clinic, USA and at Vancouver General Hospital, Canada.
Mr Faisal has extensive experience in primary and revision hip and knee replacement especially minimally invasive hip replacement, ceramic on ceramic and uncemented hip replacements.
Mr Faisal also performs hip replacements using the SUPERPATH technique which is a tissue sparing procedure allowing patients to get back their mobility quicker and walk unassisted the day after surgery and leave the hospital without the restrictions normally patients follow after total hip replacement. A SUPERPATH Hip replacement technique is designed to precisely reconstruct the hip without cutting muscles and tendons or stretching muscles that are important for hip function.
Mr Faisal also offers customised total knee replacement surgery using patient specific instruments to streamline total knee replacement surgery according to patients anatomy. The Zimmer Patient Specific Instruments Planner is the next generation in surgical planning. The surgeon can preoperatively view the patient’s anatomy in its purest geometrical form to develop a customised surgical plan for each patient.
