Some years back I started experiencing pain/discomfort in my left hip making everyday tasks difficult, a year later the right hip started giving similar problems . the physiotherapist suggested an X ray , identifying severe osteoarthritis in both hips, both would require surgery.
I did some research and decided superpath my preferred option. Unfortunately there was not a surgeon in my area South Wales , i then made an appointment with Mr Faisal at Nuffield Warwickshire . Any apprehension was quickly alleviated meeting Mr Faisal, who i found to be thoroughly professional with a warm friendly manner, all questions answered , the procedure explained and a date for the right hip set for 10th January 2023 , the physio and wound check at the Vale Nuffield South Wales to minimize travel.
Everything went as i hoped and was discharged the following day , from that time on i experienced no pain and required no pain relief tablets and was walking well without aid in four weeks , Mr Faisal suggested a period of time before left hip and a date set for 30 May .
This mirrored the first with an even easier recovery as the right hip was now fine .
I cannot praise the staff at both hospitals sufficiently , and a thank you to Mr Faisal seems so inadequate he has given myself back a quality of life restriction free unbelievable !!.
If you are in a similar position i would not hesitate in contacting Mr Faisal , i could not recommend highly enough .

I had a full hip replacement on the 28th March with the superpath method carried out by Mr Faisal.. I am 53 and very sporty and active so it was a big decision to have the surgery quite young.. my hip had worn down after years of running and although restrictive and painful walking it wasn’t keeping me awake at night and was bearable., but after a good couple of consultations where it was confirmed the hip arthritis had got to severe (bone on bone) I decided to make a lifestyle choice and have the surgery as it was only going to get worse.. Mr faisal is a very reassuring presence in fact he is the calmest man you will be meet.. did a great job and is a top surgeon.. I left the hospital after one night and was back to work after a couple of weeks.(laptop work from home job). I was Ealing with just one crutch after 10 days and none after nearly 4 weeks., now 7 weeks in and fully recovered doing 2 or 3 hour walks and cycling.. no pain.. great success and although it’s always tough to go through an Op and hard for the first week or so the end result is fantastic., thoroughly recommend the Superpath method..
Superpath total hip replacement. Could not be improved on. Low pain level. Very fast recovery as this is a less invasive technique, needing no cutting through muscle.
I had a full knee replacement, needed because the joint had failed due to severe osteoarthritis. The operation, immediate recovery and medium term rehabilitation all went much better and faster than I expected. I was able to leave hospital after 1 day, could walk without crutches after 2 weeks and could safely drive a manual car after 3 weeks. I can squat and walk normally for the first time in decades. Mr Faisal and his team gave me all the help I needed including guiding me with joint mobility and stability muscle strengthening exrcises - I have full mobility of the joint and after 2 months. They listened and responded to all of my concerns.
I am delighted with the outcome of Mr Faisal’s Superpath hip replacement surgery. The procedure was quickly and efficiently scheduled, the spinal anaesthesia worked as promised and I walked out of the hospital after 24 hours. Six weeks later I could walk freely after many months of restricted, uncomfortable movement.
Mr Faisal informs me that my left hip will benefit now as balance is restored. Thank you!
