Mr Bawarish operated on a particularly complex break to my Tibia and Fibular inserting a plate and pins and repaired my knee joint with grafts. In all this gentleman is an absolute wizard as I was extremely concerned that as a result of the severity of the injury I would suffer severe long term issues. As I convalesce, all is going to plan with a very strong and progressive range of motion developing in my knee and knitting of the bones. To compliment his clinical and professional skills Mr Bawarish is an absolute gentleman with an impeccable and highly personal bedside manner. At no time have I felt that I am merely “just another patient”. I would HIGHLY recommend Mr Bawarish as a first class Consultant / expert in his field and an all round genuine and personable gentleman. He is also supported by a fantastic team within the Orthopaedic department at Darlington Memorial Hospital (particularly Dr Kyaw (Chaw) who is a fantastic and personal Registrar).
