This doctor is superficially pleasant and caring but my experience of him was deeply unsatisfactory. I gave permission before exploratory surgery for a hysterectomy to be carried out if appropriate, which was actually done. Post surgically he never came near me once to explain what he found or did until he bounced up to my bed while I was eating four days later in the evening to tell me very abruptly with two other strangers present that I had ovarian cancer. If I wasn't familiar with medical terms and had access to the internet I would have had a very unhappy time of it subsequently. Within six months I developed postsurgical adhesions due to poor surgery (get the job done quick before lunchtime!), and I really got nowhere with Michael Kohn. I was forced to turn to private medicine and bowel surgeons to improve my abdominal discomfort with further major surgery, and I had to take early retirement from my job as it could be very physical at times. Even now eight years later if I carry out heavy physical workeven in the garden I can have an attack of abdominal discomfotr and tiredness.
