Dr Katsimihas operated on my lower spine on 2 separate occasions. The first, was an injection into my lower spine at the spire hospital at the top of Whiteladies Rd here in Bristol. I had a second decompression operation about 2 years later in 2019 at the Bath clinic. Mr Katsimihas is such a quietly spoken man who made me feel nothing but 'at ease' during every consultation with him. I have nothing but admiration and respect for him, he is what I would describe as the consummate gentleman. I HIGHLY recommend him in respect of the service he offers to his patients. I don't normally do 'reviews' bit in respect of Michael Katsimihas, I felt I needed to break this rule for him, thank you Mr Katsimihas, if only all medical professionals did their job like you, this world would be such a better place. Excellent surgeon, can’t thank mr Katsamias enough, i had two disc’s herniated causing server pain down my left leg, i had put up with it for a long time before finally giving in to having surgery. Mr Katsamias done the operation on both disc’s at the same time without any problems what so ever. It was instant pain relief can’t believe how well the operation went, three days after operation i walked over two miles easily with no pain at all. It’s been a long time since I’ve been able walk anywhere without pain my only regret is not having the operation sooner Can’t imagine the operation being done any better, such a compassionate man with exceptional skills. I would highly recommend Mr Katsimihas. I have had two successful diseconomies on separate discs in 9 years and a number of nerve block injections under his care. I have had back issues for over 25 years and he is without doubt the most understanding medical professional I have met over those years. He explains everything in detail and you basically trust him 100%. I can’t speak highly enough of him and his surgery skills have always sorted my back issues. Whilst I’d rather not see him again in a professional nature, as that would mean more issues with my discs, if I do I know I would be under the best possible care available.

I received a spinal block injection followed by a discectomy undertaken by Mr Katsimihas which was thankfully a success. I was a very nervous and inexperienced patient in a great deal of pain and desperately needed help and reassurance. Mr Katsimihas was the kindest, gentle and patient surgeon I could have wished for. He always took time to explain everything fully. He’s truly changed my life and I cannot thank him enough.
