From my initial consultation to, so far, the post-operative visits I have been confident in Mr Butler's professional competence, empathy and ability to explain the details of my operation's benefits and risks in plain English. He exudes a professional, but relaxed, style which is certain to put the most anxious of patients at their ease. On the day of the operation, our pre-operative meeting and the interaction as the operation was getting under way were reassuring and I got thought he led his team with an easy confidence which generated a positive, calm atmosphere in the operating theatre. During my post-operative visit, the following morning Mr Butler, an obviously busy man, gave me the impression that he was happy to spend as much time with me as was necessary to explain the outcome of the operation, reassure me of its success and ensure any questions I might have were answered. I have every confidence that any future consultations will have the same positive outcome and, as I reflected in the star system above, would have no hesitation in recommending his skills to future patients.
