I would trust Mr Radatz with my life and that of my children's and grandchildren's. Dr Radatz gives me hope and trust in the medical profession. He is not only highly skilled, he is honest , truthful and he gave me back a chance at life . I've had a long battle and a slow recovery because of others . With broad expertise in treatment of cavernoma, brain and pituitary tumours, glioblastoma, arteriovenous malformation, meningioma, and metastasis, Mr Radatz is a leading practioner of Gamma Knife in stereotactic neurosurgery, treating cranial and extra-cranial CNS lesions.

Mr Radatz received his degree in medicine from the Free University of Berlin in 1991 and underwent specialist training in neurosurgery at the city’s Krankenhaus Neukölln and Sheffield’s Royal Hallamshire Hospital. In 2002, Mr Radatz was appointed consultant neurosurgeon at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield, where he holds the position of lead clinician.

He also holds the positions of director and lead clinician of the National Centre for Gamma Knife Radiosurgery in Sheffield and is clinical director at Thornbury Radiosurgery Centre, where he sees patients in private practice. In addition to his clinical work, Mr Radatz is an esteemed educator and program director for the Yorkshire and Humber Deanery for the Sheffield/Hull rotation, as well as an honorary senior lecturer at the University of Sheffield.

He has held various senior positions in professional bodies in the neurosurgical field, including his appointment as president of the British Radiosurgery Society and as the radiosurgery representative on a national neuro-oncological and vascular multidisciplinary team. Mr Radatz’s extensive academic work is published in peer-reviewed journals, and he is widely regarded as an expert in his field. Overall, his expertise and experience make him a highly valued practitioner, educator, and leader in the field of neurosurgery.
