Mr Trotter was known to us following numerous medical consultations and surgery for our son. He was our first choice ENT doctor to help us with our daughters condition. He is wonderful with children, they feel safe and at ease, and parents alike. He is very considered and will not perform surgery unless he sees a real need and potential benefit to do so. He provides clear information and options for treatment as well as the associated risks. We would highly recommend him as a paediatric ENT consultant.

Mr Trotter performed my 4 year old sons Tonsillectomy. He was great from the initial consultation right through to visiting us on the ward numerous times before and after the operation. He was great with my son and explained everything to us, making us feel reassured for what was a nerve wracking procedure for us all. It is now 3 weeks since the operation and after a rocky first 10 days of recovery my son is back to normal, so no complaints from us!

We first met Dr trotter when we had concerns over our 5 year olds hearing. Straight away he was very welcoming and our daughter felt very comfortable. He listened to our concerns and offered very professional advice. We later met with Dr Trotter again when our daughter had issues with her tonsils...again he was very friendly and professional. My daughter ended up needing her tonsils removed. It was Dr Trotter that did the operation, we felt at ease and trusted him completely. Dr Trotter is brilliant, and I would reccomend him highly. My daughter gets excited for her appointments with him. Lovely man, amazing with kids.

Matthew is a true credit to his profession. Offered clear and concise consultations in a friendly manner so you knew exactly what the problem was along with a plan of action, which in my case led to surgical intervention. The operation was very clearly explained along with what the recovery journey would be like. The operation went smoothly and the recovery journey followed exactly what Matthew had predicted. When all combined together it installs confidence that you'll be fine - such a powerful feeling when having medical treatment.
