He made a bond with our child, and took time to make sure both she and we were comfortable with the issue and how to resolve it. He is knowledgeable and took time to explain to us what was happening, yet concise and clear. On the day of the operation is was kind and reassuring. Now the issue is resolved better than we could have hoped for. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend - a credit to his profession.

What a gifted man Matthew is, quite humbling really. During the initial consultation he explained everything I needed to know and continually asked if I had any questions, when I said no he would answer the questions I should have asked anyway. The operation was done under a local anaesthetic by a registrar under his guidance, he was patient and explained continually what was required of the doctor, freely giving his knowledge and skills. Top man. My only gripe about the day was nothing to do with the surgery. The joining instructions clearly stated patients having a local anaesthetic will be given a morning or afternoon appointment. I was told to be there for 07:30. I was on the ward for 7.45 only to be told to expect a long day as I was last on the list, they were right, I went done for surgery at 5pm..Not impressed. To sum up everything went smoothly with a great outcome, it was just the 9 hrs. in the middle

We saw Dr Trotter regarding our daughters sleep issues and huge tonsils. He listened to us, and made us feel completely at ease. He was brilliant with our daughter too. He talked us through the procedure our daughter would need, and constantly asked us if we had any questions. I would reccomend Dr Trotter with confidence. Our daughter actually got sad after her final appointment with him because she wouldn't see him anymore. Fab doctor
