Excellent service by Dr. Matthew Trotter from start to finish. From the first appointment with Dr. Trotter I felt at ease and in good hands. He understood my symptoms and the difficulties I was facing (the GP hadn't even deemed fit to see me face to face!) he explained the problem simply, prescribed treatment and set about verifying the diagnosis with testing. When surgery became an option, I was supported to continue a conservative treatment approach before reluctantly agreeing that surgery was needed, but I wasn't pushed into it. The surgery, and side effects, were explained clearly on multiple occasions, including the morning of the surgery and then Dr. Trotter visited me twice after surgery (to see how I was and to make sure I had remembered what I had been told the first time, whilst recovering from the anaesthetic). I had 2 follow-up appointments post-op before discharge. I fully recommend Dr. Trotter's services.
