First antenatal appointment with him. Waited 90 mins despite scheduled appointment. He walked into the room, didn't even look at me, looked at an iPad screen and asked me "is there something you want to tell me about your pregnancy?" in a tone as if I had done something wrong. Just bizarre. I said no, why should I. He repeated the question in same tone and same words. I said I don't know what he means. Then I thought my penny dropped and I said ah you want me to tell you about the particulars of my pregnancy (IVF, advanced age, donor egg) and he said aha and if there's something else. I said no, I had midwife appointment yesterday, don't know why I was scheduled to see him too and if he has something else to tell me. He looked at me and at the iPad, said to take 150mg Aspirin daily, I asked why because last pregnancy I took only 75mg, he said that is is advice and if there's anything else and he was already on his way out. I stopped him mid tracks asking him if I get a prescription or any explanation for the Aspirin, he said to go to the reception and they will give me the prescription if necessary and good bye. A totally awkward and highly unpleasant encounter. This man should not work in Gynaecology. Disgusting really. I changed consultant after this encounter.
