I first met Mr James about a year and a half ago at blackheath for a consultation regarding abdominoplasty and breast augmentation. From the very first meeting he was amazing. Putting me at ease and making me feel comfortable. He is east to talk to and explains everything fully. I had my first surgery in 2022 with fantastic results. I then chose to return to have more surgery and converting my surgery to an FDL tummy tuck with thigh lift. I’m now 8 weeks post surgery and still getting the same amazing care from Matt as I did that very first meeting. He is an amazing surgeon who cares about his patients. I cannot fault the treatment and support he gives. Thank you. I highly recommend Mr James to anyone wanting to have surgery. You will not regret it.

Matt successfully completed a surgery on my finger. All information was clear and always felt like I was in good hands. The procedure was smooth and recovery time was much quicker than anticipated, which is a testament to the care and expertise taken. In addition, Matt and his team worked late in the evening to ensure I had a surgery timeslot as I had significant time restraints. Overall excellent experience.

Matt James is an absolutely incredible person and surgeon. He is the first healthcare professional who took the time to research other conditions that I have and how they have an affect on the problems he was looking in to for me. He is kind, calm and caring. He is highly knowledgeable and an expert in his field. His passion for patient care and the medical field is visible when you meet him. He goes through every process to ensure you receive the correct treatment and provides reason behind his diagnosis and opinion with your health in mind and how you could be affected in the future. I wouldn't go to anyone else for the surgeries he specialises in. He is a credit to the medical profession.

In June I had a serious accident whilst using an angle grinder power tool. My right arm, wrist joint and hand were severely injured and required nerve repairs, tendon grafts, wires to stabilise the wrist joint and a local skin graft. Due to the skills of Mr James I have made a remarkable recovery and now have almost full use of my hand, which I was lucky not to have lost. Also, the after care including hand therapy has been superb and has played a great part in my recovery.
