Mr Matthew Hanson is the best doctor our family have ever met. He saved out mother's life in 2012 by performing a successful surgery on her bowel tumor. It was a very scary and traumatizing experience for us as a whole family. But Mr Hanson made it friendly and pleasing. Mr Hanson is much more to us than just a doctor. Transfers from cares at king George hospital to main hospital king George main building ,just having a total hip replacement for an emergency colostomy operation ,with Mr HANSON and couldn’t have been in better hands, I cannot thank Mr Hanson and his team for saving my life ,very professional , and caring team ,not forgetting HEATHER WARD for the care I received and to my STOMACH nurse CHRIS ROBINSON who I now see as a regular patient.

Mr Matthew Hanson saved my life after operating on bowl being in Redbridge hospital for three days with a hip replacement and having to be transferred from cares to King George hospital for an emergency colostomy bowl op , I cannot praise this man enough ,after being sent to ITU twice,he saved my life ,I received great care and understanding from him and his caring team, I would recommend Mr Hanson highly

After being referred to Mr Hanson he talked me through all stages thoroughly and patiently - and detected when my condition suddenly worsened and arranged an emergency op -at past midnight! he managed to do what may have ended up as a full operation as keyhole surgery and kept a full check on me during my hospital stay. Follow ups were efficient, thorough and well explained. It’s never nice being in hospital or needing an operation but he made the whole process so much easier for me. I can’t thank him enough
