I was a very anxious patient in urgent need of bilateral cataract surgery, but dreading the prospect. However my fears were allayed on meeting Mark Wevill. He took time to explain the procedure, give me all the information I needed regarding the options for surgery, and talk me through the proposed procedure in detail, so there were no surprises. I felt reassured before the surgery, and the procedures were exactly as described - quick, painless and hugely worthwhile. Mark is known to be a most skilled and eminent surgeon, a fact which is most reassuring in itself, but he is also very calm, patient and personable, which makes him very approachable, and he takes time to discuss matters and answer any questions. My surgery was most successful and the aftercare provided was excellent too, with minor follow-up procedures conducted quickly and easily- I can thoroughly recommend Mr Wevill as an excellent surgeon, and also a generous and kindly man who instils confidence and a feeling of security in his patients.
