He was very dismissive of my needs as an autistic adult, and when my also autistic mother tried to speak with his assistant to arrange an appointment, he filed a complaint against me, not my mum, me. i now have a permanent letter on my record saying i’m difficult to work with as a patient because my mum had an argument with his assistant. He was very unprofessional when we asked for him to remove it from my record, he refused, and instead added another letter.I had double leg surgery to correct a problem with my calf muscles, but now my muscles are 10 times worse and i need to do a large amount of stretching daily to walk anywhere, none of which was stated by Mr Farndon prior to the surgery. The miscommunication and the refusal to unsend the first letter have made my interactions with him very sour.

I had been suffering from a periodic pain in my left knee for some time which was also accompanied by a large lump protruding from the inner knee. The pain was getting worse and making simple things like driving and sleeping difficult. Following a visit to my local GP I was given a referral to a Consultant. Luckily I had private health cover and asked for a consultation with Mr Farndon. The best thing I did! Mr Farndon immediately diagnosed the problem (meniscus tear) and I was booked into the BMI Duchy for an operation. Within the space of weeks I had received the pre-assessment and the operation was done! I was home the same day and after a couple of days of leg rest I was up and about with no pain at all! After 10 days I feel back to normal and I can't be grateful enough for all the help, support, information and friendly advice I received from Mr Farndon. I would strongly recommend Mark to anyone suffering with lower joint problems.

Mr Fardon has undertaken a partial right knee replacement operation for me. The quality of the care by the whole team has been exceptionally good. The operation by Mr. Fardon was quick, leaving a relatively small scar. The post-operative care has been excellent and I was back doing all normal activities, including golf, in eight weeks. I cannot recommend Mr. Farndon highly enough.

Following six months of assessment and treatment on the NHS following a fall, I was still in pain in my leg and unable to walk any distance. At my first consultation with Mr Farndon, he listened patiently, understood my frustration and arranged an MRI. A second consultation followed very quickly, a diagnosis was reached and treatment with an injection undertaken. Six weeks later I am pain free and able to resume my normal activities. Thank you so much.

I saw Mr Farndon In mid November 2018 for a very painful problem I was having with my heel, he listened and quickly arranged an MRI scan which showed the cause of the problem, and he explained my options, by mid December 2018 I had an operation to fix this and am now pain free and continuing to improve, I felt both consulted and listened to throughout the whole process and would have no doubts in using him in the future or in recommending him to other people, I found his manner very calm and caring and he made sure I understood everything fully, great care and attention given.
