Mr Teo was clear, kind and helpful in his comments regarding my operation. Whilst I was in hospital he was very reassuring when doing his rounds, and always explained my situation at any given time, explaining exactly what might or might not happen. He was totally professional at all times and his charming personality made the whole experience as painless as possible.

My initial consultation pre diagnoses with Mr. Teo was conducted compassionately, l immediately felt at ease and well informed of my situation. This total professionalism was a constant throughout my stay at Southmead and regular visits by Mr Teo and his team updating me on the success of the operation encouraged my ongoing recovery in those early days. I have nothing but admiration and thanks for the way my care was conducted by the entire Teo team including my nursing and rehabilitation with the critical care team and physiotherapist post surgery.

I was referred to Mr Teo following a scan which revealed a vestibular schwannoma. He explained that the best option was surgery and patiently answered all my questions. It was a scary time waiting 6 months for the operation but it went well and Mr Teo was happy with the end results and I have made a great recovery. The whole process of 12 hours in theatre, 1 night in ICU, 4 days of nausea and a total of 10 days in hospital was hard going but the staff, care and facilities at Southmead were amazing. I am very grateful to Mr Teo and the staff of ward 7A.

Mr Teo operated on me to remove an acoustic neuroma (tumour) in March 2023. This was a 14 hour operation and the result was miraculous. Though I spent three weeks in hospital due to a CSF leak and infection I am now largely back to normal and the wound is barely noticable. Mr Teo and his team were the consumate professionals and showed great care, especially with the setbacks that I faced. I owe a great debt to Mr Teo and his team for getting me through the operation and giving me a better quality of life.
