there is nothing more I can say other then 'Excellent'
I had knee replacement surgery by Mr Marcus Cope in April 2022. This was my fourth operation by Mr Cope and I would highly recommend him.
He’s not like some consultants that talk over you, he listens to you, and answers any queries that I had.
It is now seven and a half months since my surgery. I went for an x-ray today followed by a appointment with Mr Cope. He assured me everything was fine. I knew it was as I am once again able to play golf three times a week as well as a dog walk every day, a total of at least 30 miles a week. I am 71 years old and doubted I would ever get back to where I was previously mobility wise.
I feel he has made a great job of my surgery and I have only ever been treated with respect and consideration, but in a friendly, reassuring, manner.Mr Cope listened to me and gave me a clear answer to my questions.
From my experience I cannot recommend him highly enough.
I’d had arthritic pain in my knee for ten or more years, in part as a result of sports injuries. This had begun to affect my mobility - increasingly less able to walk for extended periods without pain. I had a TKR (performed by Mr Cope), at the end of November and after assiduously doing my physio thru December, I was able in Mid January to get up and down stairs without serious pain and was walking 3 - 5 a day on holiday in Wales. IMO my treatment and aftercare at Renacres was excellent. I have full movement in my Knee and am, for the first time in a long period, able to stand for hours without arthritic pain and exercise on a daily basis. My gratitude gratitude to Mr Cope.
Made me feel at ease before, during and after the operation.
Reassuring when questions asked.
