I have received excellent care from Mr Marcus Cope. I first met him in 2009 when I had a knee operation and again more recently when I had a hip operation. On both occasions I was extremely happy with the care and attention I received. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

I had a total hip replacement 7 weeks ago and the care I received from Mr Cope and all the team at Renacres was outstanding. Everything was explained clearly to me so I knew exactly what to expect. The first couple of weeks post surgery were quite uncomfortable but from week 3 I became more flexible with improved movement each day. I can now do things I haven't been able to do for years and now all pain free. Looking forward to the continued improvement each day.

I had a total knee replacement done by Mr Cope and I am very happy with the results. He is a professional but very approachable surgeon and also seems to have a lighter side when appropriate. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Cope to anyone. He will be doing my other knee Inthe next year and I have. no concerns going forward.

I saw Mr Cope at Renacres for a total hip replacement and I felt I was in good hands.
I was awake during the operation and the professional manner of the team put me very much at ease during the procedure.
He has a very calming nature and I want to thank him, Mr Jones and the entire team at Renacres for a very positive experience.

I am a high volume hip and knee replacement surgeon, performing about 500 hips and knees a year. I have previously worked at Southport and Ormskirk DGH from 2007 to 2017 and was the Clinical Director for the last three years.
I now work full time in the private sector seeing NHS (choose and book patients) and private patients. My time is split between two hospitals in the Ramsay group.
I can be seen at Renacres Hall Hospital (Ormskirk and Southport) and Fulwood Hall Hospital (Preston).
