In December 2023 I had a large neck lipoma removed in Antrim Area Hospital under the care of Mr Marcel Valko. From my initial consultation with Mr Valko, the diagnostic investigation, the operation and recovery, I found him totally helpful and approachable, answering any questions I had in a way that was informative and reassuring. I felt that Mr Valko's interest in my case was evidenced by his telephone call to me the evening before my operation, plus the time given to me in hospital before and after the procedure he performed, which left me in no pain and from which I have successfully recovered. During my hospital stay I could clearly tell how highly staff think of Mr Valko, and rightly so. I shall always be very grateful for the professional and reassuring care I received under his care.

Dr Valko is a rare diamond in the field of medicine and ENT. He has shown me nothing but the utmost respect during his time looking after me.
