My condition had been investigated over a long period without any successful conclusions being reached. I was referred to Dr Foroughi who was extremely thorough in his investigations and successfully diagnosed my condition. Dr Fouroughi performed an operation which had been complicated by the gradual deterioration in my condition over a along time. Having been in considerable pain, I awoke from the operation almost pain-free. He has since been diligent monitoring my recovery. In addition to being a consummate professional, he has an engaging manner which makes you feel at ease and takes the necessary time and trouble to answer your questions, was realistically managing your expectations. I am extremely grateful for the treatment I received and would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Mansoor Foroughi is a wonderful person to have as a back problem consultant. He puts you at ease and guides you gently through the options and procedures. He has done a wonderful job for me as the trapped nerve in my back stopped me from walking no further than 1000metres,. before i was getting pins and needles in my legs and feet. i can now walk several miles with no issues what so ever and i am enjoying walking long hikes along the downs way with our dog. I would recommend him to anyone thinking of a consultant surgeon for back problems. Dereck Adams

My care under Mr Foroughi was absolutely exemplary. I had surgery for a Chiari malformation last year and couldn't have asked for a better surgeon. From the moment I met Mr Foroughi I immediately trusted him. He was kind, patient, and an expert on Chiari. My first appointment with him was over 1 hr long and it genuinely felt like no question was one too many. He would have spent as much time as needed with me to ensure that I was comfortable with not only the surgery, but all my options and understanding of my recovery. Whilst I was in hospital (6 days), he visited me multiple times each day to check how I was doing, and his post op care was just as brilliant. I cannot recommend him highly enough. As well as a very talented surgeon, he is also a kind and caring man who treats each patient with care and respect.

John and Marion Andrews would like to give their very grateful thanks to Mr. Mansoor Foroughi for his excellent expertise in John's brain shunt operation and the sensitivity he has shown us during the number of consultations we have had with him. We appreciate, of course, that John is unable to have a face-to-face consultation at the present time, but we very much hope that it will not be too long before this can be arranged We wish Mr. Foroughi well, together with all the medical support staff who are going through such traumatic times at present.

I first met this life saver around 20 months ago when I had been suffering with intense excruciating episodes of facial pain for over 6 years Up to this point the medical profession were all puzzled as to the reason behind them. MRI scans discovered an exceptionally large eustachian tube and resulted in numerous consultations with other Neurologists and ENT consultants which lead to multiple operations related to this. Sadly though the operations did not bring any cure and the pain attacks continued. Following a visit to a pain management consultant I was then referred to Mr Foroughi. During my1st consultation with Mr Foroughi I discovered that at last I had found someone who genuinely cared and was determined to investigate and resolve my problem. He was unbelievably kind, understanding and compassionate, realising I was almost at my wits end. He diagnosed a complicated form of trigeminal neuralgia. By that time i had become so heavily medicated by others doctors to try and keep the attacks under control life was just a painful haze, but Mr Foroughi vowed and reassured me that there would be a solution and explained in depth the MVD surgery he had planned along with the associated pros and cons and that due to the complexity of my case he couldn't guarantee 100% success. He wanted to be certain I understood the situation. A few setbacks with admission for surgery were experienced, thanks to the NHS situation, however again he was so kind and caring, realising my immense disappointment, he kept re-assuring me. Sure enough cranial surgery did finally happen where by Mr Foroughi did all that he had promised and more to stop any repeat pain episodes. During post surgery follow up consultations again Mr Foroughi went above and beyond to assure me that even if his procedure did cure the problem, he would not rest until he found something that would. Now, over a year later I can happily say I am medication free and other than some facial twinges that still go on, I've had no further severe attacks of pain. Mr Foroughi was indeed an absolute life saver and you are unlikely to meet a kinder or more caring man within the medical world. Mr Foroughi IS as good as it gets. Thank you Mr F. Val
