I had a sudden occurence of footdrop that needed reviewing. Mr. Faroughi kindly called me before my appointment to ascertain if it was a medical emergency that needed immediate treatment (footdrop with sciatica is a medical emergency). Fortunately it wasn't. I was impressed with Mr. Faroughi's attention in calling me to discuss prior to our appointment and his attention to detail and excellent manner on a video call and again on meeting in person. The issue was reviewed comprehensively and explained very well and my mind put at ease. Thank you for reviewing my case very efficiently.

Had a microdiscectomy with Mansoor. I originally went to see him about a pain in my lower left back and sciatica. He believed it to be a herniated disc in the lumbar region and following an MRI this was the case (L4-L5). We went through the various options and he was very thorough with all the risks and rewards associated with each choice. He answered all questions and concerns I had and was very empathetic. I choose the surgery and would have it done at Nuffield Brighton Hospital. The hospital itself was amazing, with clean and comfortable rooms and a great choice of food. I was in and out of surgery in a couple of hours with an instant relief from the sciatica I had been experiencing for the past 6 months. I also couldn't believe how little pain I was in considering I had just had spinal surgery. The nursing staff were amazing for the 2 nights I was there. They were constantly checking up on me and whenever I needed them they were attentive, patient and understanding. I have a 1 1/2 inch scar on my back where the surgery has been performed, which is incredible considering its spinal surgery. Mansoor is compassionate, caring, professional and his dedication to his work is impressive. Thank you for giving me a better life going forward.

I am forever grateful to have been a patient of Mr Foroughi. I had a Colloid Cyst removed without any complications. He is a excellent Neuro-surgeon who has extensive experience within this field. He always took time to explain in detail of what the treatment would be like, what i could expect during the recovery. Very kind and understandable clinician who keept a close eye on me during my stay at Royal Sussex Country Hospital. Truely one of a kind and my family can not thank him enough for the treamtnet recieved. Highly Recommended
