Mano Shanmuganathan is an absolute gentleman. He has twice performed surgery on my father. Removal of a lower spinal tumour, and decompression of another. Both occasions giving life changing results for my dad. Mano explains things in easily understood terms. He reassures whilst keeping you fully informed of all actions and procedures. I can recommend this wonderful man. From the first consultation I was kept full informed, my mind was put at rest. Went for my operation with every confidence that all would be ok. All the staff I met were very professional and so kind and nothing was too much trouble. Amazing care through consultation, operation and post operative consultation. Nice guy, easy to talk to and very patient. He told me what he was going to do and he did it! He has a great bed side manner and took time to explain so that I understood the procedure and how I would feel afterwards. Very attentive before and after surgery. Highly recommended!

I had an L5 S1 prolapse that was sitting on nerves and causing acute pain. Mano explained all my options clearly and we chose to try different interventions, with surgery as a last resort. In the end I did have surgery but this was not a decision that either Mano or I took lightly. Mano performed the surgery at the end of April this year and I am over the moon to say that I am now back at the gym (doing sensible exercise!) and back doing yoga. Mano was fantastic throughout the whole process and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to anybody. Most importantly, I am pain free!

My MRI showed my spinal canal was being squashed causing me a lot of pain and I was mostly confined to the house. Tried all the painkillers and treatments and nothing helped. The waiting list for urgent was 25 months plus. I made an appointment to have a consultation with Mr Mano Shanmuganathan who made me feel very at ease straightaway. He explained my MRI so I could see why none of the treatment had worked for me. I wanted to know if anything could be done for me, he explained the operation I would need required bone trimmed on my Vertebrae to allow space for Spinal Canal. By this stage I knew I wanted to have this operation and wanted Mano to do it, one day later I felt so lucky to have the operation. It is now 6 weeks and I am doing fantastic can walk free of pain best decision I ever made. Should also mention pain relief was very good. Very highly recommend this surgeon.
