Dr Rahman put me at ease by calmly explaining the appropriate treatment for removal of cataracts. Both operations went very smoothly and I am amazed at the difference in my vision. The before and aftercare at the Opthamology Dept, Stobhill hospital was very good.

I have been under the care of Mr Mamun Rahman since within a few months of my returning from 44 years in Canada in early 2010. There, I was fortunate to have been under the care of Professor Dr Graham Trope, a world-renowned leader in the treatment and management of glaucoma. I never thought that his care could be equalled - until I had the great fortune of coming to the attention of Mr Rahman. Since I met him as a clinical fellow, he has not only dealt with the devastating physical roller-coaster of my glaucoma damage, he has understood and nursed me through the attendant psychological burdens inherent in progressively losing one's sight - especially hard for one who was a rugby referee and refereeing coach at international level. Years ago, I was told that I'd "be blind by age 80". I'm not! Constantly looking for, evaluating, and sometimes using the latest advances in glaucoma treatment, Mr Rahman has filled me with hope and trust in being his patient patient :-). Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you. Antony Kozlowski

Excellent care and attention from Mr Rahman and all the staff at the new Vic from initial consultation to post surgery check up.... Cannot believe the difference in sight since cataract surgery...distance glasses rarely used and readers way thinner than previously worn... Highly recommended the surgery that was slight discomfort but pain free...

Doctor Rahman made me feel at ease from the beginning of treatment. He and his team explained everything that was happening at all stages. My eyesight is so much better after the cataract surgery. Many thanks to Doctor Rahman and his team. Mrs Ann Wright.
