I suffered from cataracts and rising pressure in eyes caused by glaucoma . Through the skill of Mr Rahman stents were inserted in both eyes at the same time as cataract removal . The results were amazing —pressure dropped significantly in both eyes . I felt totally relaxed the whole time with everything explained clearly . Mr Rahman is a delightful , very talented surgeon —I feel very lucky to have been referred to him .

After discovering high pressure in my left eye Mr Mamun Raman carried out the OMNI procedure on my eye at The New Victoria Hospital Glasgow in February 2024. I found Mr Rahman to be an extremely understanding and caring professional. He displayed a very positive attitude, gave clear information and was always willing to answer my questions.I am delighted to say the operation was very successful. My eye pressure is now very significantly lower. Mr Rahman displayed upmost professionalism and I would like to thank him for the excellent care I received.

Having sight in only one eye and having developed glaucoma and a cataract Mr Rahman totally understood how anxious I was about the procedure. I viewed his clinical record online and this gave me confidence that I had the right man for what could have been a major life changing event for me. He was caring, attentive, informative and understanding, providing reassurance and support throughout the process. I very much appreciated his calm and confident manner during the operation. His genuine delight in the huge improvement in my sight which had been achieved by the time of my follow up appointment was obvious. My family and I can never fully express our gratitude to him.
