Mr Mallappa Kolar removed a growth from my arm. His manner was most relaxed and reassuring. The procedure was performed confidently and efficiently and during the procedure he constantly reassured me about the progress of the operation. His conversation was amusing and charming and I did not feel any anxieties at all. The provision of post-op information was thorough and helpful. A very satisfactory experience.

I felt that I was involved in the procedure. After-care advice could have been clearer but Mr Kolar had left by that stage.

My knee stem cell operation
Prior to meeting Mr Kolar, I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both my knees and told I needed two full knee replacements. Not wanting to have metal knees, I did my own research on stem cell treatments as an alternative and had decided this was the way forward for me. I couldn’t find the treatment I was interested in here in the UK and was prepared to go overseas for the operation.
Purely by chance I happened to meet Mr Kolar and in conversation found he did his PhD in stem cell regeneration. He was able to answer all my questions about stem cell treatments which gave me the confidence to go ahead with this ground breaking treatment.
The results have been truly astounding and life changing, I no longer have pain and can lead a normal life again. I can definitely recommend Mr Kolar and his team at Kliniken who were very friendly, approachable and professional.

I had liposuction with Mr Kolar and had a very positive experience. He is very professional and friendly and took the time to listen to my concerns. Mr Kolar was very thorough ahead of my procedure and made sure I was a good candidate for surgery. He made sure I was aware of limitations and managed my expectations.
The procedure went well and I am very happy with my results. The recovery has been smooth and Mr Kolar has been available to answer any questions I had.

Mr Kolar has nearly 20 years experience in plastic surgery, with his primary drive and passion stemming from the belief that the patient experience can always be improved. He has sought to do this by broadening his exposure in multiple plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery centres across the world & adding to the knowledge basis by completing both a MD & PhD in Sweden, utilising fat and dental stem cells to aid regeneration, making him one of a handful in the country with this level of expertise.
His love for cosmetic surgery stems from an early passion in art at school, in multiple media in combination with its application in medicine. He has sought out practical experience with the best minds and hands in cosmetic surgery from across the world, with the aim of amalgamating the techniques from each surgeon to provide the best quality of care he can for his patients. This resulted in him visiting centres in the US, UK, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Germany, Lebanon & India.
