From the moment I first met Mr Wijeratna I was instantly reassured that he was able to help . From start to finish the admin kept me informed at every step as to timings this continued during the procedure ( Rotator Cuff Repair) which I was able to observe under a Block Anaesthetic . Post op treatment from Aaron ( Physiotherapist) has also been excellent. Mr Wijeratna has now signed me off after 12 weeks , he assured me that the following 12 weeks will be a case of strengthening shoulder . I am confident in his opinion and finally a big thanks to Mr Wijeratna and his team at the Spire in Nottingham .

Mr Wijeratna carefully explained the badly deteriorated state of my shoulder and recommended a reverse shoulder replacement. The operation was successfully carried out a year ago, and at my recent annual review I was able to report that the limiting pain had been resolved and I was now able to resume my normal involvement with gardening, decorating etc. I understand that this is a relatively new procedure and from my experience can be recommended.

Mr Wijeratna is Very personable and very knowledgeable in his field. Thorough in every appointment to ensure the correct treatment, he would even have input when another doctor on the team took the lead. The service I received from attending A&E to fracture clinic was second to none. Very prompt and great care. Thank you !!
