Mr Lee Taylor and his team at St Richard's treated me 2 years ago after a complicated tri maleolar ankle fracture and spiral fibia break. I had chosen to be transferred 'home' from a London hospital and was unfortunately automatically put in the care of another surgeon who gave totally conflicting advice to the London doctors. This surgeon then lost all my original pre-set xrays when he realised he no longer had me as his patient. After seeing Mr Taylor privately, I ended up having months of treatment and two operations as an in-and out- patient under his team's care. Now 2 years down the line, I know others who had similar breaks who were given different treatment. My recovery has been quicker and I have better fitness, movement and aesthetic result than so many others. Mr Taylor, you are a hero.
