After a very long wait on the NHS list I was able to be seen at the Spire Hospital in Washington. I was allocated to Mr Lee Longstaff. From our first meeting I felt totally cared for and in the best of hands. Mr Longstaff put me at ease, answered all questions and reassured me about what was ahead. My operation took place early Saturday morning and I was back home Sunday afternoon. The care I received and the facilities at the Spire were excellent. All of the staff were so approachable, knowledgeable and attentive which is just what you want. All these factors went towards my whole experience of total Hip Replacement being as smooth and straightforward as it could possibly be. I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Longstaff and his team, just had my 10 month follow up appointment this morning, and so delighted with my recovery and result. I wish the same for anybody needing replacement operations.
