I have had both knees replaced by Mr Longstaff at UHND and would have no hesitation in recommending him as an orthopaedic surgeon. My left knee was first and was fairly straightforward. I have had no pain in that knee since. My right knee was not so straightforward as following that operation I continued to have pain.Over the following months Mr Longstaff tried a variety of things to try and resolve the problem and eventually decided to resurface my kneecap. Brilliant - have had absolutely no pain since.
I was awake for all three operations and can recommend this also.
Mr Longstaff is a really caring person and puts you at ease regarding your operation. He listens to what you have to say and has a jovial manner about him which makes him very easy to talk to.
