After suffering severe knee pain, I was referred to Mr Longstaff, who quickly arranged a MRI scan and explained the problem was a severe bucket handle cartilage tear. He discussed my options, and l opted for key hole surgery.
On the morning of the operation Mr Longstaff and his team, were very helpful explaining everything, making me feel less nervous. I had a spinal anaesthetic, was fully awake, but couldn't feel anything at all .
The operation went very well, and l left hospital the following day, and received great follow up care. I would recommend Mr Longstaff and his team 100% . Thank you all.
I had my surgery at NEWCASTLE NUFFIELD.
