After years of knee pain, xrays, physiotherapy and injections, I was put on the NHS waiting list. I couldn’t walk without a walking stick. I would ring the doctor, all she said was keep taking the pain tablets. I felt Ill and so fed up. I decided to ring the Nuffield Hospital in Chichester, my choice of surgeon was Mr Laurence Dodd. He told me the diagnosis was a total knee replacement. He was so understanding. I had the operation and the first month it was extremely painful but as the weeks went by it improved. Now I am delighted that I had the surgery and would recommend Mr Laurence Dodd to anyone who needs a knee replacement. He is such a caring surgeon and gentleman and I am walking without a stick!
