Mr kunasingam did my second big toe reconstruction on both feet . I had them done approx 16years ago in Epping by another surgeon . They cut the tendons and broke the bones .I had 3screws in each foot and 14stitches down the inside of the foot .up to taking out the stitches I had an elevated boot to hold my toes up and keep me from putting pressure on them .then went into a flat boot until the scars had healed .quite a few weeks off work . This time Mr Kunasingam used keyhole surgery .no stitches and minimum scarring .both bones were broken and two metal rods inserted ,a flat boot until the bandages came off (two weeks).then into trainers .a lot less hassle .my after care was thorough.with X-rays to check each visit .a very pleasant team of doctors .Thankyou to you all .I’m really pleased with how my feet look .and I’ve had compliments on how they look .
