I have been diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer. Surgical intervention was performed under the care of Mr Haldar. The care from the start was excellent. Mr Haldar took his time to explain everything. He also took all my concerns into account. I was reassured by his clarity in communication and expertise. Care from all the staff was brilliant as the whole team went above and beyond. Procedure itself and the recovery thereafter went very well. Many thanks to Mr Haldar.

Having never been seriously ill or having undergone surgery in my life until being diagnosed with ovarian cancer earlier this year, I was absolutely terrified of what lay ahead of me, when I was do for my surgery in early September. I was inconsolable and covid-19 restrictions meant not being able to have anyone close to me be at the hospital with me was unbearable. I didn't think I would get through it. What can I say, where can I find words enough, to thank Dr.Haldar and his entire theatre team? From the moment I was wheeled into the anaesthetic room I felt nothing but wamth, empathy and such tender care, the likes I have never known before. I didn't think such attention and sensitivity could be possible from surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses, especially in these covid times. Not only was the pre-surgery preparation incredible, my post-operative treatment, recovery and the results of the surgery were the best possible. My thanks are endless and immeasurable.
