I think there is now a good understanding between myself and this doctor who is in charge of my care. I have come to know him as kind, gentle, well spoken and considerate doctor. If I were to give any constructive criticism it would be that sometimes I have felt my wishes on my own care were not given enough consideration, but those matters quickly resolved themselves.
I presume he is part time as I don’t see him much wink wink. Seriously, I know he works very hard.
I am all ready to beat him up if he misbehaves (at table tennis because apparently he isn’t very good at that sport) wink wink.

Obviously the Responsible Clinician in charge of my care knows his stuff. He is kind, down to earth and calm. My only trouble would be not being informed about the reasoning behind my care on an intellectual level that I would comprehend.

I am a Consultant Psychiatrist based at Berrywood Hospital, Northampton.
I work full-time and look after all patients on Cove Ward. I am also responsible for half of the inpatients on Harbour Ward. I chose working on the wards over community as I find this role to be much more exciting, challenging and rewarding. I really enjoy my role and try my best to give a high quality and holistic service to all my patients and their carers.
