Mr Ghosh is not only a great surgeon, he explains the procedure in laymans terms and he has a very good sense of humour that helps put you at ease.

I am very greatful to Mr Ghoush for such great care following my left total knee replacement. I found Mr Ghoush to be kind, empathetic and reassuring at my initial consultation, prior to surgery and during my post op recovery. He listened carefully to my concerns and questions and fully answered these. I have just had my 8 week review and although I have a little way to go with increasing the extension in my knee my surgery has gone well. I highly recommend Mr Ghoush and am very thankful for receiving such great care.

At my first examination I had an x ray and full examination of my knee problem. Then Mr Ghosh took his time to explain my options fully. His manner was clear and professional answer questions I posed. The full replacement knee went well, and have just been for my six week check with Mr Ghosh. I would recommend him and his team at Going Hall Worthing to anyone

I can thoroughly recommend Mr Ghosh, he performed a total hip replacement of my arthritic right hip 9 weeks ago. I am now pain free, can go for a brisk walk for an hour, and am sleeping well. He was clear in his explanations of the procedure and easy to talk to.

Profile

Mr Ghosh qualified from University College Hospital, London in 2004. His orthopaedic training was locally within Sussex and Surrey. Having focussed primarily on lower limb surgery he undertook an international fellowship at the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre. This focussed his academic and clinical interest in sports related and ligamentous knee injuries. He then undertook a year long fellowship at the Exeter Knee Reconstruction Unit where he developed skills with primary and revision knee replacement. He was a locum hip and knee consultant at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey before being appointed as a substantive consultant at the newly merged University Hospitals Sussex NHS Trust.
Mr Ghosh is passionate about his patient related outcomes and developing local care and services. He carefully monitors his National Joint Registry results and is currently pioneering a Worthing based acute knee clinic alongside local musculoskeletal physiotherapists. He has trained and mentored numerous registrars on the Kent, Surrey and Sussex rotation and takes an active role to educate juniors on the latest orthopaedic research, standards and evidence which he uses to guide his own practice.
