Mr Serafeimidis is a consultant breast surgeon who works at Singleton Hospital in Swansea. He graduated from Athens Medical School, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece in 1998. He completed his higher surgical training in 2008 and after sitting his fellowship exams, was granted the title of specialist general and breast surgeon. Simultaneously he is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh by which has been appointed as Regional Surgical Ambassador for the area of South West Wales. He is specialised in breast cancer and oncoplastic surgery. Since his graduation he has worked in Greece, New Zealand and the Fiji Islands. In 2016 he was appointed as a substantive consultant general and breast surgeon in Withybush Hospital, Hywel Dda UHB and in 2022 as breast surgeon at Singleton Hospital, Swansea Bay UHB. He sees symptomatic patients in Singleton Hospital as well as ladies from screening services through Breast Test Wales.
