Having seen another surgeon I wasn't happy with, I found Mr Lam highly recommended on several patient forums for people with spine and disc problems. He listened carefully, explained clearly, and gave me great confidence in his ability to help my recovery. Importantly, he suggested conservative measures & pain management initially, rather than pushing a surgical solution. That may eventually be necessary, but I'm confident he will avoid unnecessary procedures, which some surgeons seem keen to rush into. Having had a lumbar root nerve block with him I found him extremely confident, capable, and confidence inspiring, and his team at London Bridge hospital to be fabulous in all respects.
