As a family we can not speak more highly of this wonderful , caring , professional inspiring Doctor. Kevin approached us to discuss life changing surgery for our daughter Abi who is 8 years old and has had a trachestormy in place since 3 months old . This type of surgery had never been done before in Europe so it was a big decision to make but the results would be life changing for Abi and us all as a family. Kevin spoke to us on a personal level and never once made us feel like we were just another family with a child who required surgery . Kevin got to know us and out of all the surgeons Abi met during her ongoing surgery she trusted Kevin and he soon became her friend rather than a Doctor. The surgery Abi has undergone has been nothing short of heroic for a small child and the stress this puts on you as a family is something you can never prepare for. To be able to pick up a phone to ask a question or send a text every time you were having a "wobble" was invaluable to us and this is the kind of care Kevin gave us . Kevin kept us informed throughout the whole process and we never felt like we couldn't ask questions and we could tell without a doubt that he genuinely cared and Abi put her full trust in him . We have nothing but absolute respect for this amazing Super Hero in our eyes and we are in awe of this talented Doctor. We are confident that the surgery Abi has undergone will help so many children who have the same condition and although Abi will face further surgery I am sure in the future , there will never be another time in her life like this again . Thank you isn't enough ! Kevin will always have a special place in our hearts and Abi will always be remembered I am sure as that first little girl who was brave enough to put her faith and trust in someone who I am sure has helped her on her way to achieving her dreams ... Kevin you really are our super hero !
