On 29th May I attended the Maxillo Facial Clinic where I was informed that a lump I had on my right tonsil was suspicious. This lead to an immediate biopsy and later a tonsillectomy. Happily the results showed that my tonsil was healthy. My experience of the department was very impressive. Mr. Hughes and his whole team were outstanding at the clinic and later at the BRI and St Michael's. They were thorough, informative and encouraging. I was treated with respect and a high level of professionalism at all times, and by everyone on the team - from the first meeting to being discharged. I have since met others who have experienced the same level of treatment and share my appreciation of the work this department carries out. Thank you.
