I went to see Mr west after rupturing my achilles tendon. Only 3 days after it occurred he had saw me at crosshouse hospital. I was very anxious and worried about my injury. He put me at ease and then operated on me on the Wednesday two days later. I’m now into a walking boot and on road to recovery. Thank you for being such a skilled medical professional, and for having a sense of humour and personality.

I wish to express my grateful thanks to Mr.West for his expertise, caring attitude and his dedication to administrating high quality medical care during my visit to Crosshouse Hospital. I am full of gratitude for his skill as a surgeon and the manner in which he led his superb team in theatre. I am recovering well thanks to the skills of Mr.West and his excellent team .In conclusion I wish to thank the NHS teams at Crosshouse Hospital from A&E to ward 2a and theatre team for their outstanding care and attention I received during my stay.

I have wotked with many Doctors. Mr David -West is very accomplished and has faced life challenges that many could not endure.... he did so for his chilrden and for others. He also provides for his homeland by encouraging all of us to re-invent, re-use, and make available to our family in Africa all that can be used to help. This is done at Kenneth's expense. He is a credit to the very core of care giving, to his profession, and to his family. As a radiographer who has assisted him, as was my pleasure. I commend Kenneth as a survivor and a champion of orthopaedic surgery. All told, Kenny is a truly gifted man who faced adversity and gave insipirration to any who encountered him.
