I am so pleased with my recent surgery undertaken by Mr Graetz and his team. He is very personable and matter of fact whilst being empathetic too. Would love thoroughly recommend him and the entire transplant programme at Portsmouth. My living donor coordinator Lucy Chester has been informative and supportive throughout. Thank you.

Very pleasant and approachable consultant. Nothing is too much trouble for him. He has helped me (and my immediate family) through a challenging time and is always available, when possible, to talk to you. He is a big part of an extremely busy transplant team and I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

I first met Mr Graetz last year when I attended QA as an emergency case with a suspected appendicitis, he performed a laparoscopic wash out after discovering my appendix was actually ok and I had a perforated diverticula with an abscess. From the beginning he explained what the initial procedure would be, how he would do it. Afterwards he explained fully what he had found during the operation and how it was corrected. Yesterday he performed a Bi Lateral Laparoscopic Hernia Repair on me. Did yet another brilliant operation and I feel ok today. One of the things I like about Mr Graetz is his 'bedside' manner, he is very friendly, approachable person and if you do have any questions you don't feel awkward asking them. Considering how busy he is you always feel he has time for you and he doesn't rush you. Thanks again Mr Graetz Regards, Paul
