My initial consultation with Mr. Gnanalingham was because I was suffering from extreme back pain and found great discomfort when attempting to walk. He asked a series of questions and this was followed by a physical examination. Various tests were then recommended, which have since been carried out. I have had further consultations with Mr. Gnanalingham since and have always been very impressed with his professionalism and courtesy. I always felt very comfortable with him and able to ask questions. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Gnanalingham and can only thank him for his care and attention”

I have been under Mr Gnanalingham's care for the last 3 years and found the service and patient care that he provides just incredible. He always provides in depth detail and discusses any options available. Thanks to his good care and excellent manner he has helped to put me at ease and gain confidence going forward. His secretary is also outstanding, the two of them work beautifully together leaving no stone unturned. I highly recommend Mr G and his team.

I first had back pain about 4 years ago and Dc Gnanalingham was recommended to me by a friend. The pain initially was agonising and it was such a relief to have some advice and reassurance from himself and his team. He went through all the options clearly and suggested a plan. I felt I was in good hands and I certainly was. I have had the steroid epidural injections about every 18 months, and they have been very successful. I have always been treated so well and cannot recommend the team enough. Vaani, his PA is outstanding too, you can always contact her and she is so helpful, friendly and warm. I would have no hesitation I returning to the team, if and when needed. I feel I have been very lucky in finding them.

I found Mr Gnanalingham to be incredibly thorough and reassuring. In his initial consultation, he took the time to thoroughly understand my issue with a mixture of physical examination, reviewing my notes and then a relaxed question and answer session. From here, he quickly recommended the right tests and once he received these, he offered flexibility for follow ups, face-to-face or via web call if preferred. Overall, I would definitely recommend him to anyone with a similar issue. A good listener, efficient, professional and his secretary was a pleasure to deal with for any admin queries.

After electing to have a MRI on my lumbar discs and SI joints, I was recommended to see Mr Gnanalingham at The Alexandra Hospital, Cheadle by my chiropractor with a view to undergoing a procedure of steroid injections to relieve chronic back pain. From the outset, communication through Mrs Vaani Navaratnam (PA to Mr Kanna Gnanalingham) was both friendly and efficient in organising the initial consultation, procedure, and outpatient appointments. After my initial consultation with Mr Gnanalingham, during which we reviewed my history of chronic back pain alongside the MRI results, the initial recommendation was to make a drastic lifestyle change to lose weight to bring my BMI into the healthy range and reduce the burden of carrying the extra weight on my problematic discs. After 12 weeks using a commercial personal training company, I accomplished a 3.5 stone weight loss. Whilst the pain had improved significantly, I contacted Vaani to arrange a consultation with a view to going ahead with the treatment. My procedure was organised faultlessly and the care I received from the nurses and team at the Alexandra Hospital, as well as from Mr Gnanalingham himself, was exemplary; this was my first ever time in hospital and I was made to feel comfortable and confident in their abilities throughout. Post procedure, my pain has now subsided significantly, and I am able to do things that I haven’t done in over 20 years. I highly recommend Mr Gnanalingham and his team. Special thanks to Vaani for adding that special extra layer of care, and to Mr Gnanalingham both for his exemplary skill and for being and absolute gentleman whilst executing his craft.
