I can't believe how this surgeon made me feel so relaxed and confident about his ability to preform this serious operation. The team that work with him were also very confident which helped me to feel safe in their hands. If anybody was unfortunate to need this operation I can only hope for them that they end up on Mr Gnanalingham's table.

I highly rate the care Mr Gnanalingham gave. He was very good at listening to my history and asking the relevant questions before deciding on next steps. I also appreciated the option of a virtual follow-up appointment which saved a journey. Very personable and professional consultant.

I have been under Kanna Gnanalingham’s care since September 2021. Not only is he very personable with a good sense of humour he is also very professional. I have always felt comfortable in his presence and his level of care has been extemporary. His explanation of my problems has been clear and concise and the treatment provided has been very effective.

It was such a shock to have to seek advice from a Neurosurgeon! I was totally reassured that I was with the right team from the outset. Vaani, his secretary was efficient and friendly from the outset and even emailed me late on a Friday evening to let me know that my MRI scans had been received before my appointment. Mr Gnanalingham explained my scans ensuring that I understood them. He suggested that I take photos to help me explain to my family. His kind, calm manner was just what I needed and he answered my many questions clearly and honestly, without using too much "medical jargon". My husband and I both left the appointment feeling informed and confident that I am in extremely capable hands.

I suffered from a mild disk bulge after a car accident in 2010 that gradually worsened over time. This caused left arm immobility and intense pain. I conducted inquiries and discovered Mr Kanna Knanalingham, which I am grateful for. On the same day, I was able to schedule an initial consultation. Not long after, I had MRI scans, followed by a follow-up session to review my choices. He advised me to continue with pregabalin. Injections were a consideration, but this would only be temporary pain relief. After reading the scan results in further detail and reviewing what I had tried before, I thought surgery was the primary solution. From the first appointment to the last, Mr Gnanalingham discussed everything associated with ACDF surgery in detail, with clarity, honesty, and consideration. As a result, I felt comfortable and protected under his care. This allowed me to approach the day of my surgery with confidence and without dread. I was astounded by how well everything went from the minute I walked into the hospital through pre-op care, anaesthesia, surgery, and recovery. Following that, I followed the recommendations given about managing the surgical incision, and the scar is gradually diminishing. Amazing! My health has improved much due to the surgery, with over 95% of my movement restored and no discomfort. I understand that complete healing might take up to 18 months. If I require more assistance, aftercare has been left open. I am appreciative of such excellent treatment. Thank you to you and your colleagues!
