I had my lens replacement surgery in November 2022. I wanted to wait before posting a review as Mr Stevens had said that it would take six months for everything to really settle. It's true! My sight was great initially post surgery, but it's really over the last few months that I have noticed how fantastically I can see! It still feels surreal to wake up and be able to see! I had been extremely short sighted since a child and to be able to see without very thick glasses or contact lenses (I was wearing a -12), is truly amazing. The whole process with Mr Stevens and his team was wonderful and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

If you want the best for your eyes this is your man! My husband was nearly blind in one eye with cataracts and now has perfect vision. I was so impressed I had my eyes done too as I was fed up constantly looking for my specs when I needed to read something. I now have perfect vision too. Mr Stevens is top of his field. Fantastic at what he does. Don't give your eyesight to anyone else.

CATARACT SURGERY AND LENS IMPLANTS In 2011 I had right and left Cataract Surgery and extended depth of focus Lens implants. It was hugely important to get the right man for this job. I was very nervous. Carrying out my research, I was recommended time and time again to Julian Stevens, a total expert in his field. I was made aware of his diverse clientele, and the exacting standards that he held himself up to. His waiting room was always extremely busy,…a testament to his reputation and ability, and his work colleagues carrying out the extensive eye tests prior to seeing him,…. followed a meticulous schedule. Janet, Julian’s secretary, was always there, available to advise and straight forward in her approach, keeping my feet well on the ground. The fear of an operation always foremost in my mind, and knowing one can never be 100% positive about the outcome, I had two eyes operated on……., not together, but leaving a matter of weeks between them, ensuring the one eye was safe, before the other eye was worked on. The operations were quick, there was no pain involved. The after care which I had to carry out, in terms of scheduling throughout the day the various drops, over a 4 week period, had to be done meticulously, and this, followed up by return check-up appointments, to re-test the sight/procedures were parr for the course. I can honestly say that Julian Stevens’ work is first class. He is efficient, totally focused and meticulous, and having put my trust in him, was not disappointed.

Fantastic service. Mr Stevens explained the options available clearly and answered all my questions in layman's terms. Both he and his team made me feel fully at ease throughout the process. I highly recommend Mr Stevens and the rest team he has built.
